BP Day - 2016
Our Scout School which was started in 2003 with a pack of Little Friends (WAGGGS), in the year 2016 on the "BP Day" which is 22nd of February, enrolled 16 children for the first Scout Group together with the Chilaw District Branch of Sri Lanka Scout Association. For this occasion, Chilaw Zonal Educational Director Mr. Saddha Mangala was present as the chief guest together with the Scout District Commissioner Dr. Champika Lowe, Zonal Development Director & District Scout Association's Executive Chairman Mr. Noel Nonis, Association's Chairman Mr. Hillary Prasanna and Association's Secretary Mr. Nalin Ravindra. On that day, a blood donation program was also held to commemorate the birthday of Lord Barden Powell.
